Day Zero:

Thursday was not an official Con day, but it was the day you could pick up badges, if you'd pre-regged, and the SC Message Board regulars had. I got to the hotel by three and called Saxy, who hadn't even left Bellevue yet. Still, we had time to get our stuff moved in before...

The Limo:

Last year's limo ride event was a great success, but cramped, so this year Saxy arranged for a Limo Bus (a fancier airport shuttle bus) so we could all have more room. We piled in and went up to Uwajimaya for supper, shopping, and a chorus of "Watashi no Tamagoyaki" as Dragon Half played on the DVD player in back.

There was loads of stuff we couldn't get there, because it wouldn't keep. Ryuumi got some Mochi anyway, and we ended up tossing it the next day. =( But I did get Ray his mochi and ramune, which made him happy. Half the junk food I got, I ended up taking home anyway...but I ate the bananas. Lesson: There is no substitute for Real Food.
